Do you plug anything in or power devices on?
No. Devices stay powered off the whole time, and we never connect a charger, cable, dock, or USB device.
Do you open laptops or remove keys?
No. We only clean surfaces you can reach from outside. We don't remove screws or keycaps.
Will you see or access our data?
No. We never log in or wake a device to use it. Devices stay in a room you choose, and we're happy to sign your NDA.
What products do you use?
70% isopropyl alcohol or the manufacturer's approved cleaner, applied to lint-free microfiber and never sprayed onto the device. We follow each brand's specific guidance. Our exact methods and product selection are proprietary.
How long does each laptop take?
About 10 minutes on average. We'll plan the number of stations around your headcount and schedule.
Which brands do you clean?
All major laptop brands, including MacBook, ThinkPad, Dell, HP, and Surface. Tell us your mix when you request a quote.
Where do you set up?
Usually in a conference room you provide. If you don't have the space, a mobile van outside is available as a premium option at significant extra cost.
Where do you operate?
New York City only: all five boroughs, starting with Brooklyn and Manhattan.
How much does it cost?
We price per device, with volume tiers and recurring-schedule rates. Every visit is quoted based on device count, setup type, and timing.
Do you clean the inside of laptops or the fans?
No. We clear external vents and ports with canned air, but we never open a device.
Can we review your process before booking?
Yes. The Bezel & Key Standard is published at bezelandkey.com/standard for your IT and facilities teams.
